River Mall x Origins Ethno Festival

We invite you to the city festival of living tradition, inspired by the holidays of Macovius and the Savior!
On August 15, we will be happy to spend a summer evening together at the Ethnofestival with “Vytoky” at River Mall!
Together, let’s try to experience and recreate the rituals that our ancestors have preserved and passed down from generation to generation for years.

The program includes:
• performances by LELÉKA and ShchukaRyba;
• weaving wreaths from field herbs;
• making wax candles;
• a workshop on beating on shoppers;
• traditional Ukrainian games for children and adults;
• thematic installations, photo zones;
• a special zone about home medical care from the Hospitallers.

One of the key events of the festival will be a joint recreation of the large Makovia cross with a pumpkin on top – according to local traditions of the south of Kyiv and the adjacent part of Zhytomyr regions.
