RULES of conduct in the RIVER MALL shopping center and the surrounding area
The purpose of the RIVER MALL Shopping and Entertainment Center (hereinafter referred to as the Shopping Center) is to ensure maximum comfort for visitors.
• The Shopping and Entertainment Center is open to visitors every day (Shopping Center Hours):
Shopping Center: from 10:00 to 22:00
Silpo: from 09:00 to 23:00
Planeta Kino: from 10:00 to the last session
• The Shopping Center Administration has the right to establish and change the Shopping Center Hours, close the Shopping Center or restrict access to the Shopping Center in order to ensure fire, public safety, safety in an emergency, as well as in weather conditions, for technological, technical, operational, sanitary and hygienic, organizational and other reasons that pose a threat to the life or health of people or cause damage to property.
• All relations between the Shopping Center Administration and business structures operating on the territory of the Shopping Center are regulated by the current legislation of Ukraine.
• The Mall Administration is not responsible for the quality of goods and/or services provided by entrepreneurs – tenants of the Mall.
• The Mall Administration is not responsible for the safety of items left in the cloakroom and other common areas of the Mall.
• Periodically, the Mall Administration holds mass events to promote the Mall with photo and video recording of such events. By staying in the Mall, the Visitor gives his consent to photographing and video recording both him personally and minor/young members of his family, as well as his animals, within the framework of such events. By staying in the shopping center, the Visitor also gives his/her unconditional consent to the free use of photo and video materials taken in the shopping center, which contain his/her image and/or images of minors/young members of his/her family, when creating advertising, information messages about the activities of the shopping center and for other purposes related to the activities of the shopping center, and also gives his/her consent to the storage, reproduction, distribution and processing of the specified photo and video materials.
Taking care of the comfort and safety of visitors, as well as in order to maintain order in the shopping center, the Administration asks to adhere to the following rules:
1. Visitors to the shopping center are obliged to:
1.1. Before visiting the shopping center, independently and in detail familiarize themselves with these Rules, which are posted on the official website at: https://rivermall.ua/, as well as at the shopping center information desk;
1.2. Treat the shopping center property with care, prevent its damage, maintain greenery, maintain cleanliness and order, be neatly dressed, and be attentive to other visitors;
1.3. Observe public order, traffic rules in the area adjacent to the shopping center, fire safety rules, and fulfill reasonable requirements of the Administration and the Shopping Center Security Service.
1.4. During the period of the relevant quarantine restrictions established by the current legislation of Ukraine and/or by the decision of local authorities, enter the shopping mall and stay in the shopping mall at all times wearing personal protective equipment (PPE), in particular a respirator or a protective mask covering the nose and mouth, including those made independently. The shopping mall security service has the right to deny entry to a visitor without PPE or to ask them to leave the shopping mall. If a visitor without PPE does not comply with the request of the shopping mall security service, the latter has the right to call the police.
1.5. In emergency situations related to natural phenomena, riots, military operations, accidents, criminal acts of third parties, etc., visitors must strictly follow the instructions and instructions of the shopping mall administration.
1.6. During an air alarm, listen to the announcements made from the loudspeakers in the shopping mall.
2. The following are not allowed on the territory of the shopping center and the territory adjacent to the shopping center:
2.1. Entry and riding on roller skates, bicycles, skateboards, scooters, electric scooters, gyro scooters, etc.;
2.2. Entry with animals into public areas without observing the Rules for Keeping Domestic Dogs and Cats in Kyiv (hereinafter referred to as the Rules for Keeping Domestic Animals), approved by the decision of the Kyiv City Council dated 25.10.2007 No. 1079/3912, namely:
2.2.1. The person accompanying the animal is obliged to ensure the safety of the accompanied animal, surrounding people and animals, as well as property from causing harm by the accompanied animal.
2.2.2. The person accompanying the animal is obliged to comply with sanitary and hygienic standards and public order, and to clean up the excrement of their animals.
2.2.3. Dogs may be kept in the common areas of the shopping mall only on a leash, and potentially dangerous dog breeds, the list of which is established by the appendix to the Rules for Keeping Pets, must be kept on a short leash (no longer than 1.2 m) and in a muzzle;
2.2.4. Entrance to the shops of the shopping mall tenants is regulated by the tenant’s internal rules.
2.3. Smoking, consumption, use of tobacco products, electronic cigarettes, devices for consuming tobacco products without burning them, hookahs, except for specially designated places in the territory adjacent to the shopping mall;
2.4. Consumption of alcoholic beverages outside the relevant establishments;
2.5. Taking photos and videos without the consent of the SEC Administration, with the exception of “Selfies” and photos for personal purposes, which are taken using mobile phones and (or) amateur cameras or video cameras, if the person taking the photos and videos does not create inconvenience to other SEC Visitors and does not violate public order;
2.6. Carrying out any activity without the written consent of the SEC Administration (including, but not limited to, the sale, distribution and posting of advertising brochures, flyers, advertisements, organizing gatherings and performances of artists, holding concerts and flash mobs);
2.7. Using obscene expressions in language, speaking in a raised tone, committing actions that offend the honor and dignity of other Visitors;
2.8. Carrying flammable, explosive, poisonous, pyrotechnic, flammable and radioactive substances, firearms and cold weapons, gas weapons and ammunition, electric shock devices, mechanical or automatic aerosol sprayers of all types;
2.9. Rearranging furniture without the permission of the Mall Administration;
2.10. Throwing garbage outside specially designated places;
2.11. Blocking entrances, passages and evacuation exits;
2.12. Parking cars outside specially designated places.
2.13. Spoiling, damaging the Mall property;
2.14. Leaving bags, belongings and other items unattended.;If forgotten, ownerless items are discovered, the Customer must immediately inform the Mall Administration or the Mall Security Service. Before the Mall employees arrive, it is prohibited to independently carry out any actions with the discovered item.
2.15. Behavior that may offend or disturb other visitors.
2.16. Children under 12 years of age staying in the shopping mall without adult supervision. The security service has the right to prevent children under 12 years of age from entering the shopping mall without adult supervision;
2.17. Playing musical instruments in the shopping mall, using sound and video playback devices (except personal ones) without the approval of the Administration;
2.18. Turning on and listening to loud music;
2.19. Leaving children without adult supervision;
2.20. Eat food outside the food court, restaurant, or cafe areas; carry hot food and drinks around the shopping center (including in elevators and escalators) (except for carrying in hermetically sealed containers/packaging);
2.21. Go behind the fences of repair or other types of work;
2.22. Beg;
2.23. Stop or block automatic revolving doors, delay the entry/exit of other visitors, and allow more than three people to enter one compartment;
2.24. Run, run on escalators, move on an escalator against traffic, jump, climb fences, railings, technical structures, jump from any height, lean over railings, enter service premises, as well as other restricted access areas decorated with appropriate information boards, signs, and pointers;
2.25. Enter restrooms during cleaning;
2.26. Use restrooms for purposes other than their intended purpose;
2.27. Touch, move inventory, decorations, Christmas tree decorations, elements of the shopping center decor, any electrical equipment not intended for games and entertainment;
2.28. Enter the shopping center with oversized items, which include items that exceed 180 cm in the sum of three dimensions, except for goods purchased in retail establishments on the territory of the shopping center;
2.29. Use radio-controlled equipment (cars, helicopters, quadcopters, etc.);
2.30. Make a bonfire, light candles or otherwise use open fire;
2.31. Sell and (or) demonstrate pornographic products, products of extremist content;
2.32. Organize and conduct gambling on the territory of the shopping center and participate in them.
3. The following persons are not allowed to be on the territory of the shopping center and the adjacent territory:
3.1. Intoxicated or under the influence of narcotic substances;
3.2. Persons who violate public order, engage in begging;
3.3. Persons who threaten the safety of visitors to the shopping center;
3.4. Persons in dirty clothes, persons from whom an unpleasant odor is heard;
3.5. Persons who are in the shopping mall without clothes, with a bare torso, or whose appearance offends human dignity and is clearly incompatible with generally accepted norms of social behavior;
3.6. Persons who have previously grossly or repeatedly violated the requirements of these Rules.
All of the above persons are required to immediately leave the shopping mall at the request of the shopping mall security staff.
4. Access to the shopping mall
4.1. Journalists, in order to carry out their professional activities on the territory of the shopping mall, other persons who wish to carry out photo and video shooting, cover events, prepare photo and video stories on the territory of the shopping mall submit applications to the Administration for obtaining the appropriate permit. Having issued the necessary permit, journalists, other persons, in accordance with the purpose specified in the application, may carry out the appropriate activity in the agreed place of the shopping mall.
The shopping mall security service has the right to ask to show the permission from the Administration to carry out the above-mentioned activity on the territory of the shopping mall. In the absence of this permit, a representative of the shopping mall security service informs the person about the prohibition of carrying out such activity in the shopping mall without the permission of the Administration and the need to stop the activity, except for cases when the implementation of such activity is expressly permitted by law.
5. Responsibility for violation of the shopping mall rules
5.1. Visitors who have violated the requirements of these Rules, as a result of which their actions (inaction) have caused property damage to the Shopping Center, the Building Owner and (or) other Visitors, may be held civilly liable in order to compensate for the losses caused in accordance with the procedure established by the current legislation of Ukraine.
5.2. Visitors who have violated the requirements of these Rules and whose actions show signs of an administrative offense or a criminal offense may be held, respectively, administratively or criminally liable in accordance with the current legislation of Ukraine.
5.3. The Administration has the right to take all lawful measures aimed at bringing the guilty persons to the appropriate civil (material), administrative and (or) criminal liability.
6. Lost items
6.1. In case of loss or finding (discovery) of any item left by an unknown person, the Visitor must contact the Security Service or the SEC Administrators at the Info Desk or call tel.: +380(67) 357-67-67 during the SEC’s working hours.
6.2. The Security Service employee has the right to open and inspect the contents of the found items or invite police officers for the specified purposes.
6.3. The Administrator returns the lost item to the Visitor subject to prior receipt from the Visitor of confirmation that the item belongs to the Defendant (providing relevant documents, correct description of the item or its contents, etc.). Before transferring valuables to their owner, a document is drawn up recording such transfer, which must include the Visitor’s passport data.
6.4. If no one comes to claim the found item within two months, the Administration reserves the right to dispose of it at its discretion, including handing it over for disposal.
